The Human Origins Program: Public Exhibits

A new exhibition hall is planned for the National Museum of Natural History in Washington DC, with the theme "What Does It Mean To Be Human?" In it, visitors will be taken on a tour of human evolutionary history. Using the latest forensic techniques and fossil discoveries, artist John Gurche is constructing eight liknesses of early humans in exacting detail for the exhibit.
